The call to prayer had already started when, with the help of the devil, Yassir finally fell into a deep and enjoyable sleep.
If he hadn’t set his alarm for 7:30, he wouldn’t have seen Yashjub leave as he had planned.
As soon as the alarm rang, he woke up immediately since he wasn’t a heavy sleeper. He quickly picked up his phone, checked it, turned off the alarm, and then put it back down before heading to the toilet.
First, he urinated, then brushed his teeth before coming out. He walked towards the window and stood there.
After about two minutes, Yashjub finally came out. Yassir felt bad when he saw Yashjub call his driver, hand him the car keys, and ask him to drive. It was clear that Yashjub had a lot of work ahead of him because as soon as he got into the car, he spread out some documents and placed his computer in front of him, focusing on work while sitting in the long seat in the back.
Yassir shrugged and slightly pouted. In his mind, he said, “At least you’ve found a companion in death.”
After watching them leave, he went back inside his room, took his AirPods, put them in his ears, and played music on his phone.
Then, he lifted a small curtain in one corner of the room, revealing his workout equipment. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and thought to himself,
“This place for working out looks like a rat’s den! I can’t wait for my house to be fully built so I can gather my things and move out. I feel suffocated here!”
