After a few minutes, Pravin came out of the bathroom with his face wet, as if he had just washed it. But instead of looking angry, he had a strange smile on his face. This annoyed Saratu. She frowned and looked away, continuing to eat her food.
He sat beside her. "If there's a punishment worse than what you're giving me now, I'm ready to take it. I just want you to forgive me so we can be okay again. My Sarah, I can’t stand it when you're mad at me," Pravin said, trying to convince her. But Saratu didn’t look at him.
She was about to pick up an apple from her plate when Pravin suddenly held her hand. "You’re ignoring me. I’ve been talking to you, and you’re acting like I don’t exist," he said with a sad tone. Saratu hated being disturbed while eating, so she turned to him, ready to scold him. But before she could speak, Pravin suddenly pulled her close and kissed her.
She struggled to push him away, but he was stronger. He held her tightly and continued kissing her. Slowly, he pulled down the zipper of her dress, exposing her stomach. His breathing became heavy, like a hungry lion. Just as he was about to undo her bra, Saratu gathered all her strength and pushed him away so hard that he fell onto the mattress.
She quickly adjusted her clothes, her face full of anger. Her eyes turned red, and she breathed heavily in frustration.
Pravin closed his eyes in disappointment. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he spoke in a low voice, "Why are you doing this to me? You make me suffer like I’m not your husband. You’ve completely turned your back on me. You refuse to give me my rights as your husband. Saratu, you’re being unfair to me. Do you know how hard it is for me?"
Saratu lost her appetite. Suddenly, she felt sick and rushed to the bathroom to vomit. Pravin felt hurt, thinking she was throwing up because she hated being close to him.
He struggled to sit up, leaning against the headboard, his eyes red with frustration. No matter how she treated him, he couldn’t stop loving her. He even forgot why he had come to her room in the first place.
After about five minutes, Saratu came out of the bathroom, holding her chest. She stopped when she saw him and stared at him. He stared back. She wasn’t surprised to see tears on his face. In her mind, she thought, "This stubborn man." But out loud, she said, "So, you came to my room just to stress me with your stubbornness? Why didn’t the woman you spent last night with satisfy you? You told me yourself that she takes better care of a man than I do, didn’t you?" she said, glaring at him.
Pravin held his head in his hands. Now he understood why she was treating him this way—she was jealous. Even though she didn’t fully believe what he had said before, it still hurt her.
In a soft voice, he said, "I was upset with you yesterday, so I said that to hurt you. But I didn’t mean it. No matter what, I can’t compare you to any other woman. You’re the only one in my heart, now and forever. That’s why I put up with everything, no matter how you treat me. I could never betray you…."
