It was raining heavily in the town, and the weather felt so cool and pleasant. A gentle, refreshing breeze was blowing everywhere. Although it was around 5 PM, it felt more like night because of the dark clouds covering the sky. In that peaceful weather, everyone was inside their bedrooms, lying on their beds, wrapped in blankets. The whole house was quiet, with no sounds anywhere.
Two women were sitting inside a car, having a conversation. One of them was Hafsat, and the other was an elegant woman Hafsat didn’t know. The woman was dressed in an expensive ash-colored lace outfit. Her skin was fair, and she looked well-cared-for and relaxed. She was sitting in the driver’s seat, while Hafsat sat beside her.
Hafsat listened carefully as the woman spoke. The woman said, "I was lucky to find your address, and I met you easily. I hope you will help me achieve my goal."
Hafsat responded, "I'm listening. What do you want me to do for you?"
The woman smiled slightly before saying, "Before I tell you what I want, please give me your account number."
Hafsat was surprised by the request, but she didn’t argue. She calmly recited her account number while the woman typed it into her phone.
No sooner had Hafsat finished saying the number than an alert popped up on her phone—kirrr!
Quickly, Hafsat picked up her small purse from her lap, opened it, and took out her phone with shaking hands. When she checked it, her heart dropped in shock—an alert for 6 million had just been received. It felt like a dream.
In disbelief, she looked up at the woman and asked, "What is this for?"
The woman laughed softly and replied, "There are twin children, Hosana and Jahad, that Marshal Omar brought to this house."
Hearing the names shocked Hafsat, and she stared at the woman in confusion.
The woman continued, "It’s not a difficult job. I want those kids out of this house! They need to be far away from Marshal Omar."
Hafsat looked at her, deeply confused. What puzzled her most was how this woman knew that Marshal Omar had brought the children to the house.
