Ayush's aunt, Uma, was very angry and shouted at her, “Are you crazy? I never knew you were this foolish! Where is your sense? Do you even realize what you’ve done?”
Ayush, crying, replied, “Aunty Uma, please forgive me, but I can’t marry Brother Junaid like this.”
Uma yelled back, "Shut up, you fool! Do you know this is your only chance? If you lose it, you will never get another! Junaid is a good man, not a womanizer. He loves you so much that he publicly declared his feelings for you, yet you embarrassed him in front of everyone. You should always think ahead before making decisions! My only wish is for you to marry Junaid. He will be at peace with you, and even his mother dreams of him marrying you.
This engagement was arranged by Junaid’s mother. She has wanted this for a long time, and she truly loves you, even though she doesn’t know your full background yet. Ayush, be fair to her! Marry Junaid, at least for her sake."
Ayush, still crying, asked, “So, Aunty Uma, you really want me to marry Brother Junaid?”
Uma sighed and said, “This is not a request, it’s an order. If you refuse, know that I will cut you off forever, and you will never see me again!”
Hearing this, Ayush cried even harder. While they were still arguing, they heard footsteps approaching the room.
Uma quickly ran into the bathroom, while Ayush sat on the bed, her face soaked with tears.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and an angry Angel stormed in. She shouted, "Ayush, what have you done? How could you do this? Do you think what you did was right? Junaid truly loves you, but you humiliated him in public. If you didn’t want him, you could have just slapped him and walked away instead of embarrassing him like that!
Because of what you did, his mother’s heart condition got worse, and they had to rush her to the hospital. When Junaid saw her coughing up blood, he collapsed too! The doctor had already warned him that if his mother’s heart fails again, she might die.
Look at what you’ve caused! You’ve destroyed the happiness of so many people. You should be ashamed of yourself!"
Angel left angrily, leaving Ayush sobbing on her bed.
Uma came out of the bathroom, also crying. “Well done, Ayush! If Junaid’s mother dies, you will have to leave this house. And you will lose the person who truly loves you. No one you marry will ever love you as much as Junaid does.”
Ayush opened her mouth to speak, but Uma raised her hand and said, "I don’t want to hear anything!" She then walked out of the room, twisted her ring, and disappeared instantly.
Alone in the room, Ayush clutched her head and let out a loud, heartbreaking scream.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Junaid’s mother was still in critical condition. She was lying in bed, surrounded by more than five doctors, some pressing on her chest to keep her heart beating. They quickly gave her a blood transfusion and put her on oxygen, but her eyes were bulging, and she could barely breathe.
In another room, Junaid was also unconscious, with an IV drip in his arm. His body was burning with fever, and he hadn’t woken up yet.
Outside the hospital, his friends waited anxiously. Angel entered the hospital crying and sat down next to Aditi and Rumana, who were already waiting there. No one was left at home except Ayush.
Ayush was still lying on her bed, crying. She regretted everything. If she had known Junaid’s mother was behind the marriage plan, she wouldn’t have ruined it.
Then, she suddenly felt a hand on her back. Startled, she sat up and saw Laylah sitting on her bed, smiling.
Laylah said, “Why are you crying? Just because you spoke your mind? I don’t blame you for rejecting something you didn’t want.”
She sighed and continued, “Anyway, that’s not why I’m here. I came to apologize for what happened in the past. I know I made a mistake, and I regret it. Please, Aunty Ayush, forgive me.”
Ayush wiped her tears and, with difficulty, whispered, "It’s okay, it’s in the past." Her face was swollen from crying.
Laylah asked, “Are you sure?”
Ayush just nodded, not wanting to talk.
Laylah smiled and said, “Good. You’ve cried too much, and I know your head must be hurting. Relax, everything will be fine. Here, take this medicine for your headache. It will help you sleep.”
She took out a small pill from her bag and handed it to Ayush with a bottle of water.
Ayush took it and said, “Thank you.”
Laylah replied, “It’s nothing. I also suffer from headaches, so I always carry medicine with me.”
But as she said this, she glanced at Ayush with a sly smile and bit her lip.
After Ayush took the pill, they both sat in silence for a few minutes.
Then, Ayush started feeling dizzy. Her vision became blurry, and her mind started spinning. She stood up shakily, her voice trembling. “What’s happening to me? I see fog everywhere… and horses coming towards me…”
Seeing Ayush losing control, Laylah burst into laughter, clapping her hands.
"You fool! You think I’m your friend? Anyone who comes close to Junaid will regret it. I know Junaid still loves you, and even if he doesn’t, his mother will force him to marry you. But I will put an end to that!
After today, Junaid will hate you so much he won’t even want to look at you!"
She laughed loudly as Ayush struggled to stay on her feet…
